Welcome to the Washington State Tumor Registrars Association
web site. The purpose of this Association is to provide a
communication link between Association members in the State of
Washington, stimulate self-improvement through certification and
continuing education, and achieve standardization of all tumor
registry procedures and data collection in accordance with state
and national requirements.
Membership in WSTRA is open to anyone interested in
the cancer registry field or promoting the work of WSTRA. Membership
categories include Active and Associate classes with Active
membership having the most membership benefits. An Honorary
membership class is reserved for WSTRA members who made significant
contributions to the association. Please see the
Membership page for a list of specific
membership benefits.
WSTRA also provides regular educational opportunities for those
seeking continuing education credits. Our Annual Membership meeting
is held each spring where the new Executive Board
is installed. Scholarship opportunities are also available to any
WSTRA member in good standing.
We welcome support for our educational activities from vendors and
other sources. Please contact our Ways and Means Chair to find out
about opportunities to sponsor WSTRA activities.
